I have a wonderful and patient partner (of over 9 years), two happy dogs, and an egocentric bird. I was born in Arizona. My family moved to Georgia when I was 8 years old. After spending a lot of time and effort trying to get out, I realized that Georgia wasn't as bad as I thought. I moved back after 7 years of being away, and it's especially nice to be near family again. Athens, Georgia might just be the best place to live...ever. I always wanted to work with animals when I grew up. And although I'm not entirely grown up yet, I nailed the animal thing. I'm fortunate to have a job that I love - a bad day at the vet clinic is still better than a good day at the office. The few things I do well are animals, outdoor photography, and paper mache - none of which are very marketable, but at least I enjoy them. I love gardening and have begun to get good at it. I cannot juggle, remember people's names, or do math in my head. I was fired for things I wrote on this website on May 6, 2005. My advice for people who are blogging about work - less blogging, more drinking...er...I mean...job searching.
